Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using PortFoliQ ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by PortFoliQ, you enter into a binding agreement to abide by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein, you are expressly prohibited from using the Platform and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

PortFoliQ provides Saas tools allowing developers, designers, researchers, and professionals to build, customize, and publish online personal portfolios.

Features include responsive layout templates, AI-assisted resume import parsing, custom domain routing, candidate recruiter analytics, and inbound contact lead management.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access portfolio editing tools, you must register for an account using a valid email address with One-Time Password (OTP) verification or via Google Social Authentication.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain 100% full ownership of all original content, text, photographs, project graphics, resume files, and links uploaded or published to your portfolio ("User Content").

By uploading or publishing User Content on PortFoliQ, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, format, and serve your content solely for the purpose of operating, rendering, and rendering your public portfolio website.

5. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree not to use PortFoliQ for any unlawful, deceptive, or malicious activity. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Publishing false, misleading, fraudulent, or impersonated identity credentials.
• Uploading malicious code, viruses, phishing links, or spyware.
• Distributing hateful, abusive, defamatory, sexually explicit, or harassing content.
• Infringing upon third-party intellectual property or copyright trademarks.
• Attempting to bypass platform security, rate limits, or account restrictions.

PortFoliQ reserves the right to automatically flag, review, or unpublish any portfolio violating acceptable use guidelines.

6. AI & Resume Processing

PortFoliQ offers an automated AI Resume Import feature. When you upload a PDF resume, the document text is parsed server-side and submitted securely to our AI processing providers to generate structured portfolio sections.

AI-generated suggestions should be reviewed and verified by you before publishing. PortFoliQ makes no guarantees regarding the completeness or accuracy of automated AI translations.

7. Pro Subscriptions & Payments

PortFoliQ provides both a Free plan and paid Pro plan tier. Payments for Pro subscriptions, one-time upgrades, or promotional coupon redemptions are processed securely via Razorpay.

• Pricing & Taxes: Pro subscription fees (e.g. ₹99/month) are billed as indicated during checkout. Applicable taxes (such as GST) are calculated at payment.
• Payment Credentials: PortFoliQ does not store credit card, debit card, or UPI banking credentials on our servers. All transaction details are processed by Razorpay.
• Coupons: Promotional discount codes and free pass vouchers must be redeemed prior to expiration according to their specific terms.
• Cancellation: You may cancel or manage your paid subscription anytime from your dashboard billing settings.

8. Custom Domains & Hosting

Free accounts receive a PortFoliQ subdomain alias (e.g. portfoliq.in/username). Pro subscribers may map custom third-party domain names (e.g. yourname.com).

You are responsible for purchasing and configuring DNS records for custom domains owned by you. PortFoliQ is not liable for DNS propagation delays, domain registrar expirations, or third-party DNS misconfigurations.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PORTFOLIQ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL PORTFOLIQ OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and unpublish portfolios at our discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in harmful behavior.

You may delete your account and remove your portfolios at any time from your account settings.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in India.
